- If your thinking about writing your own software, most of the "standard"
- graphic text books cover it (i.e. Principals of Interactive...), also
- see if your school library has any issues of SIGGRAPH's annual issues
- (they're expensive.)

- If, on the other hand, you just need software, then ImageFX (my fav),
- ImageMaster (excellent, cheep package) and a bunch of PD/ShareWare
- image-processing packages do it- some might have source-code to.
